How does All travel Energies monitor my system?

The All travel Energies Monitoring team is dedicated to making sure your solar equipment and battery storage work optimally so you can get the most value out of your solar production.  Here’s how it works:

1 – We record production (in real-time)

We install a monitoring & communication device so both you and All travel Energies can see your production through our customer app.

2 – We collect your production data (every six hours)

Four times a day, your All travel Energies Meter sends your production data to our Denver, CO based Monitoring Team, where all production data is collected, stored and analyzed.

3 – We evaluate your production (every day)

We compare your production to the estimates included in your contract to confirm that your system is working as expected. We also check the weather and other systems in your neighborhood to ensure your system is working as promised.

4 – We fix what needs fixing (if necessary)

If your system isn’t working as expected, we will dive deeper to identify the issue and rectify the situation. If we cannot fix your system with remote troubleshooting, we may need to send a technician to take a look at your system in person.

What happens if my solar panels stop working?

Our Monitoring Team is responsible for overseeing all All travel Energies systems daily – monitoring each solar system’s production so you don’t have to think twice. If something happens, or your system performance dips, we are alerted and contact you ASAP to get it fixed.

What is the difference between a kW and kWh?

kW (Kilowatt) is a unit of power, representing the rate at which energy is used or generated. It measures the speed of energy transfer.kWh (Kilowatt-hour) is a unit of energy, measuring the total amount of energy used or produced over time. A kWh is the energy consumed when a device using 1 kW runs for one hour.

How does ATE find viable sites for deployment?

At All Travel Energies, we identify credible and viable deployment sites by analyzing factors such as traffic consumer needs, proximity to highways, local demand for EV charging, ease of access, and available electrical infrastructure. We also consider customer behavior and community needs to ensure strategic placement for maximum deployment, daily use and convenience.

How long will it take to get my charger deployed?

Timeline for deployment of DC chargers varies tremendously, depending on the site’s readiness, city permit processes, and types of infrastructure needs required to get the site ready. Typically, it takes about 3 to 6 weeks to fully install and activate a charging station, although this can vary based on local regulations and site-specific conditions.

What is a CPO?

A CPO (Charge Point Operator) is a company or organization responsible for managing and maintaining electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. CPOs ensure the chargers are operational, monitor usage, and often handle payments and customer support.

What if something happens to my roof during or after installation?

We have you covered. Your All travel Energies contract includes a watertight warranty, which protects your roof from leaks or holes. Not all solar companies offer a comprehensive warranty like All travel Energies!

How do I care for my solar panels?

All travel Energies covers all system maintenance and guarantees that you will receive a certain amount of power from your system when you sign up for a lease or PPA. There are also few things you can do as a solar homeowner to make sure you are getting the most out of your solar system.

Trim back trees.

The more sun on your panels, the better. It’s a good idea to keep nearby trees trimmed to allow the sunshine to reach your panels for as much of the day as possible.

Spray dusty panels.

Just a few rainy days a year is enough to clean your panels. If you live in a particularly dusty area, you may want to hose them off — just do it from the ground to be safe

Watch out for falling snow.

It’s normal for snow to stick to your panels. Please resist the urge to clean them. The snow will eventually slide off. Try to avoid parking in the landing zone.

What if I need help?

As a All travel Energies customer, you have a team of experts that are ready to help whenever questions come up.

What is a CCS or NACS connection?

CCS (Combined Charging System) is a widely-used standard for fast DC charging, common in electric vehicles from many manufacturers, including European and American brands.

NACS (North American Charging Standard) is another fast-charging standard primarily used by Tesla vehicles but gaining traction with other EVs in North America.

How fast can you charge a vehicle?

Electric car Charging speed depends on the type of charger and the vehicle’s capabilities. The ATE Level 1 chargers provide up to 5 miles of range per hour, while Level 2 chargers offer 15-25 miles per hour, and our DC super-fast chargers can add up to 250 miles or more in 25 minutes, depending on the vehicle.

What are the costs to get started on the ATE program?
The initial costs for ATE deployment partnership program can vary based on site specifics (e.g., electrical upgrades, city permits and site locations). On average, the costs range from $2,000 to $12,000 per charging station. We offer customized quotes based on the unique requirements of your site.

Do I have to own property?

No, you don’t have to own the property before you can own or host a charging station. Our Property department works effectively with property owners, businesses, and municipalities, offering flexible solutions, including leasing agreements and site partnerships, to deploy chargers at suitable locations.
